About Us

About me:
Hi 👋, I'm Naomi. I've been a car girl all my life, but only really got into motorsports in 2016. Avants made a great little video about me a few years ago. Since then, I mostly enjoy instructing at Driver Skills days (aka Car Control Clinics), do some stunt driving, and still love driving at the track. I've gone through a few more cars since the video and recently owned a race-ready 1987 Porsche 944.

About Throttle & Tote - History:
I hear too often how people get attached to their old racing harnesses and put them in a box to sit in a corner of their garage - only to get thrown out a few years later. I want to #savethebelts from the landfill and give them new life. And with my passion for carryalls, I created Throttle & Tote.

Support from Friends & Motorsports Community:
As soon as I mentioned I wanted to do something with these expired racing harnesses, a few friends of mine provided me with their old boxes of harnesses - and I made a prototype. Sample bags have been made by my manufacturer, and as of this writing in May 2025, I haven't yet gone to full production.

Throttle & Tote Products:
* Track Bag: Utilizes two 2" belts (60.5" long) for the handles. Water-resistant, heavy-duty carryall, made to fit most frunks. It is sized to perfectly fit the Audi R8 frunk as it is the smallest of the frunks I measured. Made with a stiff dry-waxed cotton canvas fabric imported from Scotland that gets more pliable the more it's used. Note: it does not have a waxy-residue.
* Crossbody Tote: Utilizes one 2" belt for the cross-body part. Water-resistant, versatile smaller option, made to carry personal items, log books, a laptop, etc.
* Helmet Bag: TBD. Currently in the design phase. 👉 Send me your top three "musts" and I'll try to incorporate them in the design.
* Accessory Bag (aka "The 10mm"): Coming soon. I will be using the 3" portion of the belt that attaches to the 2" section. I've made a prototype and it will be a great place to keep your smaller tools from getting lost (the 10mm 🔧) or just keep your lunch 🥪 separate from your gear.Â
