After a brief pause, Throttle & Tote is open again - as a side project, but a passionate one. A recent custom order reminded me how much I love making these bags, and I'm ready to make a few more.
I have a limited run of 6 bags in progress, made with the upcycled racing harnesses I have on hand. Bags will be ready in 6–8 weeks. Likely mid-August or September, 2026.
Pickup is local to the Seattle area only, unless other arrangements are coordinated with me directly.

Hi 👋, I'm Naomi. I've been a car girl all my life, and only really got into motorsports in 2016. Avants made a great little video about me a few years ago. Since then, I enjoy instructing at Driver Skills days (aka Car Control Clinics), do some stunt driving, and still love driving at the track. I've gone through a few more cars since the video and recently owned a race-ready 1987 Porsche 944.
About Throttle & Tote - History:
I heard too often how people get attached to their old racing harnesses and put them in a box just to sit in a corner of their garage - then get thrown out a few years later. I want to #savethebelts from the landfill and give them new life. And with my passion for all types of bags, I created Throttle & Tote.
Support from Friends & Motorsports Community:
As soon as I mentioned I wanted to do something with these expired racing harnesses, a few friends of mine provided me with their old boxes of harnesses - and I made a prototype. Sample bags were made, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to take a break. But we're back! Let me know if you want a Throttle & Tote bag. They will last you a lifetime.
